Our Authentic Dubai Food Tour takes place in the heart of old Dubai, where the city’s first communities settled and developed the cuisine we enjoy today. There’s only one place to start on a food tour in the Middle East, and that’s with freshly brewed Arabic tea paired with local specialty dates.
From here, the Spice Souk calls. The fresh aromas of the market will fill the senses, and your guide will talk you through the history within the walls to add further depth to the experience.
Before the traditional Abra boat takes you across the creek, you’ll be refreshed by a local juice. Now replenished, it’s time to venture into Bur Dubai for the Bayt At Wakeel Restaurant. Stunning panoramic creek views will greet you as you soak in the history of the famous waterway playing out in front of your eyes. Hand crafted starter dishes will follow to quench your appetite and leave you hungry for more.
Local juices are a staple in old Dubai, and you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a glass. From here, you’ll take an Abra boat across the Creek and venture into Bur Dubai to the Bayt At Wakeel Restaurant. Stunning panoramic Creek views make for the perfect backdrop at Al Wakeel, with hand crafted starter dishes on the menu that set the right tone for the rest of the evening.
The Local House Restaurant is your next stop for – a joyous eatery inspired by the spirit and culture of Emirati cuisine and home of the Camel Burger. Enjoy a delicious main course crafted with authentic flavors, fresh local ingredients, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the heart of Al Fahidi.
Your tour will conclude at the Arabian Teahouse, a charming hideaway in one of Dubai’s oldest heritage districts. Enjoy a selection of traditional Arabic desserts as you soak in the serene surroundings and reflect on the rich history that has shaped this vibrant city.
