The Exclusive Desert Experience is a secluded, curated dining experience nestled in the heart of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DDCR). Privacy and exclusivity are central to your itinerary, and the surrounding landscapes provide an idyllic backdrop for your evening of delicious dining and shared moments together.
Your journey begins with a private transfer from your accommodation in Dubai to the DDCR. You will be picked up by one of our friendly and knowledgeable guides in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle and enjoy a comfortable journey to the desert.
From here, it’s time to drive across the beautiful rolling desert dunes as your dedicated guide helps you spot a range of local wildlife. You’ll then get the opportunity to enjoy a short ride on an Arabian camel and further admire the stunning desert landscape.
Then, still in the exclusive company of your group, you’ll be taken to a secluded location to admire a breathtaking desert sunset. Here, you can take time to bask in the beauty of this incredible spectacle.
After the sun has set, your Bedouin-inspired dining space is waiting for you. Unlimited soft drinks are included as part of your package, with premium beverages and shisha available if you wish. To round off an incredible trip to the desert, you’ll have time to stargaze under the mesmerising blanket of stars above you.
Your return transfer will also be in complete privacy, with one of our experts driving you back from the camp.

Know before you go
- This experience is completely exclusive to your party only, and can host up to six guests
- We recommend wearing lightweight, breathable clothing and comfortable, robust shoes for your Exclusive Desert Experience. Find out more about what to wear on a desert excursion
- We recommend wearing sunscreen for the safari and packing a pair of sunglasses and a hat
- Temperatures can fluctuate in the desert quite quickly. Warm afternoons can turn into cool evenings, particularly in the winter months
- We will work to accommodate special dietary requirements when they are shared with us in advance. Please contact our team via WhatsApp to share your requirements, or complete a contact form
- Please inform our team of any existing medical conditions before joining us for your Exclusive Desert Experience. Where necessary, we will work to make alternative arrangements for certain activities to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all guests throughout the experience
- While we endeavour to show you as much wildlife as possible, we cannot predict the movements of every species. Therefore, if some of the animals change their plans, we can’t guarantee you’ll spot them
- Restrooms are available at the campsite
- The service of adult beverages may vary during Ramadan and other religious holidays
- This experience does not include live entertainment, however, background music will be played throughout the evening. Optional entertainment is available on request
- Please note, expectant mothers and guests with pre-existing medical conditions are unable to join us for the dune drive section of the experience but are invited to join us for all other excursions
- Guests with an existing Exclusive Desert Experience booking are welcome to extend their stay in the desert with an Overnight Desert Safari. Please contact our team via WhatsApp to upgrade
Age policy
- The following age brackets apply for booking purposes:
- Adults: 12 years old and above
- Children: 5-11 years old
- Infants: Below 5 years old
- A private vehicle must be booked for children aged between 2-5, or under 135cm, and details shared with our team at the time of booking
Cancellation policy
- We understand that plans can change. If they do, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to your activity. We will not be able to process refunds for bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before your activity starts
- Full payment for your booking is required at least two days prior to your activity. If payment is not received before the expected date, we reserve the right to cancel your activity
- In exceptional circumstances, we may have to amend the Exclusive Desert Experience schedule or cancel the activity entirely. We reserve the right to amend and cancel activities in such circumstances, and will ensure we communicate any changes in advance where possible
