This combo deal includes an overnight stay in the heart of the desert, complete with a full safari itinerary, and a hot air balloon experience to start your day in truly spectacular fashion to take in one of the world’s greatest spectacles – sunrise in the desert.
During your overnight stay in the desert, you will have one of the eight canvas safari-style tents, set across two characterful Bedouin-inspired spaces, to call home.
Each tent has a comfortable double bed, private decking area, and a rustic desert charm, with individual toiletry amenities and shared bathroom facilities also provided on site.
The Overnight Desert Safari experience includes private transfers, a BBQ dinner and cooked breakfast, and a variety of unique activities that will contribute to making your overnight stay a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
These activities include a camel ride on an Arabian Camel, a walking night safari by torchlight followed by fireside marshmallows, and endless wildlife spotting opportunities throughout your time on safari.
Every Overnight Desert Safari experience is inclusive of a soft drinks package for each guest, which can also be upgraded to a premium package upon request.

Know before you go
- Overnight Desert Safari:
- Each overnight tent accommodates a maximum of two adults and one child under 12 on a rollaway bed.
- Requests for a rollaway bed should be made during booking or by contacting our team via WhatsApp at +971 4 274 8803, or through the form linked here.
- Check-in from 3pm, check-out before 11am.
- Fresh linen and towels are provided in your tent.
- Wear comfortable clothing and suitable walking shoes. Warm clothing is recommended for cool desert nights, along with sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
- We will accommodate special dietary requirements when shared in advance. Please contact our team via WhatsApp or through the form linked here.
- Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed as animal movements are unpredictable.
- Tent allocation is at the discretion of the Arabian Adventures team, but we will accommodate specific guest preferences where possible.
- Please inform our team of any existing medical conditions before joining. Alternative arrangements may be made for certain activities.
- Expectant mothers and guests with existing medical conditions joining a package with transfers will have the 4x4 dune drive omitted from their itinerary for their comfort.
- Hero Balloon Experience – Terms and Conditions:
- All bookings require Emirates ID numbers or Passport Numbers for each passenger at the time of booking, per Gulf Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations.
- Itineraries may change due to weather, seasonal conditions, or Conservation Reserve requirements.
- Guests acknowledge and accept inherent risks in activities, including injury, illness, or loss. Participation is voluntary.
- Children under 5 years cannot participate in hot air balloon flights.
- Children 5 years or older pay full adult fare.
- Children may be required to be seated in booster seats or other child-safety-accredited seating.
- Fitness Requirements:
- Hot Air Balloon guests must be able to safely jump in and out of the balloon basket.
- The company assumes no responsibility for health conditions; participation is at guests’ own risk.
- Pregnant Guests:
- Not recommended for pregnant guests.
- Permitted only within the first trimester; not allowed in the second or third trimester.
- Guests who had major surgery, a broken leg/arm in the last 6 months, or suffer from chronic back/neck pain should not participate.
- Smoking is prohibited inside tour vehicles.
- The possession of alcohol inside all tourist vehicles is prohibited under UAE law.
- The company reserves the right to refuse guests whose behavior disrupts the group.
- Vehicles may be equipped with dashcams for safety and training purposes.
- Drones are not permitted due to UAE aviation regulations.
- Guests consent to photos or videos being taken and used for promotional purposes.
Age policy
- Adults: 12+
- Overnight tents can accommodate one child, aged between 5-11, on a rollaway bed which must be requested in advance. You can request by speaking to our team via WhatsApp on +971 4 274 8803
- The Overnight Desert Safari operates a minimum age restriction of 5+. However, when the entire Overnight camp is reserved exclusively for private use, this minimum age restriction is lifted
Cancellation policy
- We understand that plans can change. If they do, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to your activity. We will not be able to process refunds for bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before your activity starts
- Full payment for your booking is required at least two days prior to your activity. If payment is not received before the expected date, we reserve the right to cancel your activity
- In exceptional circumstances, we may have to amend the Overnight Desert Safari schedule, or cancel the activity entirely. We reserve the right to amend and cancel activities in such circumstances, and will ensure we communicate any changes in advance where possible
- Cancellation Policy for Hot Air Balloons:
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before tour departure: Eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made under 24 hours before tour departure: Not eligible for a refund.
- No refunds for failure to join a tour, late arrival, or early departure.
- Tours may be canceled if minimum guest numbers are not met. Guests will be offered an alternative tour or a full refund.
- A full refund or alternate booking date will be offered if a tour is canceled due to inclement weather.
