Full description
The adventure begins at the entrance to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve where our guides will take your group on desert drive to our camp. Your class will learn how to build tents while we prepare a delicious barbecue dinner, with an enthralling fire show and traditional Arabic tanoura dance take place as the stars come up over camp.
After dinner, you’ll take your UV lights on an evening wildlife walk to look for wild animals and observe them in their natural habitat. Then back at camp, you’ll toast marshmallows around the campfire, enjoy stargazing, and settle into your tent for the night.
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll enjoy sandboarding down the dunes and camel trekking. Throughout the trip, you’ll learn about the preservation work of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, the history of the desert and its role in Emirati culture.

- Barbecue buffet dinner, hot breakfast and bonfire marshmallows. Vegetarian options are available
- Unlimited water and three soft drinks per person
- All transport inside the reserve
- All supervised activities and shows including an optional dune drive, guided tent building and bonfire setup, fire show and tanoura dance, stargazing, wildlife walk, camel farm visit, camel trek and sandboarding
- Shared tents for two children and single tents for adults. You can also bring your own tents if you prefer
- There are no showers but we have toilets and washrooms at the camp

- Casual clothes (shorts, t-shirts, long trousers or leggings)
- Practical shoes with sturdy soles and covered toes (flipflops or sandals are not recommended)
- Refillable water bottle
- Sunglasses and sunhat

- Waterproof high-factor sunscreen
- A small backpack or shoulder bag
- Snacks in a resealable bag
- Change of clothes necessary for overnight stays
- Sleeping bags (not provided)
- Any personal essentials for comfort during the trip
