The Evening Desert Safari is a signature Arabian Adventures experience. Set in the heart of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, you will always remember the night you spent watching the sunset over the desert, spotting Arabian Oryx and Gazelle roaming in their natural habitat, and feeling the rush of adrenaline that comes with a 4x4 dune drive.
Away from the record-breaking skyscrapers and beautiful beaches of the city, there’s a desert world from which the Dubai we know today was born. Home to the origins of Bedouin culture, a world of indigenous wildlife, and a range of thrilling activities that can only be experienced on the dunes, your time on the Dubai desert will leave you feeling like you’ve discovered a brand-new world.
Every activity on your Evening Desert Safari creates a memorable night in the heart of the desert. The journey begins with a pickup from your hotel or residence. Our team will drive you to the DDCR, where your Evening Desert Safari takes place. From here, your evening of activities begins, with a range of thrilling and enriching excursions included before a BBQ dinner in a traditional Bedouin setting and transfer back to your location.
Throughout your Evening Desert Safari, there will be multiple opportunities to spot the indigenous wildlife that call the DDCR home. As you will discover on your safari, the DDCR is a protected conservation space in which local flora and fauna are given a space to flourish. Get your cameras ready, as there will be plenty to spot while you’re with us.

Know before you go
- We recommend wearing comfortable clothing for your Evening Desert Safari, including sneakers/walking shoes and modest dress
- Temperatures can fluctuate in the desert quite quickly. Warm afternoons can turn into cool evenings, particularly in the winter months. Please take this into account when deciding what to wear for your Evening Desert Safari
- We recommend wearing sunscreen for your activity, and packing a pair of sunglasses and a hat

- While we endeavour to show you as much wildlife as possible, we cannot predict the movements of every species. Therefore, if some of the animals change their plans, we can’t guarantee you’ll spot them.
- Please inform our team of any existing medical conditions before joining us for your Evening Desert Safari. Where necessary, we will work to make alternative arrangements for certain activities to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all guests throughout the experience
- Restrooms are available during this activity
- Please note, expectant mothers and guests with pre-existing medical conditions are unable to join us for the dune drive section of the experience, but are invited to join us for all other excursions.
- Guests with an existing Exclusive Desert Experience or Evening Desert Safari booking or VIP Desert Safari in Dubai are welcome to extend their stay in the desert with an Overnight Desert Safari. Please contact our team via WhatsApp to upgrade.
Age policy
- Adults: 12+
- Children: 5-11
- A private vehicle must be booked for children aged between 2-5, or under 135cm, and details shared with our team at the time of booking
Cancellation policy
- We understand that plans can change. If they do, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to your activity. We will not be able to process refunds for bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before your activity starts
- Full payment for your booking is required at least two days prior to your activity. If payment is not received before the expected date, we reserve the right to cancel your activity
- In exceptional circumstances, we may have to amend the Evening Desert Safari schedule, or cancel the activity entirely. We reserve the right to amend and cancel activities in such circumstances, and will ensure we communicate any changes in advance where possible
