Dubai

Emirates Golf Club
Located on Sheikh Zayed Road
Voted in the ‘World’s Top 100 Golf Courses’ by Golf World Magazine, the Emirates Golf Club boasts two championship courses – the flagship Majilis Course and the Faldo Course. The Faldo Course is the only 18-hole course in the region offering floodlit night golf. It is home to the annual Omega Dubai Desert Classic and Omega Dubai Ladies Masters.

The Majlis Course

  • Length of the course: 7,301 yards
  • Course: 18-hole, par-72 includes the fifth hole that is played uphill and the sixth hole that is played over-water
  • Designer: Karl Litten, Florida based golf architect.

The Faldo Course

  • Length of the course: 7,348 yards
  • Course: 18-hole, par-72
  • Designer: Nick Faldo
  • 9-hole, par-3, floodlit course is available

The Emirates Golf Academy is run in association with Peter Cowan and offers programmes for golfers of all skill levels.
Other facilities: A Clubhouse, Pro Shop, two food and beverage outlets, a gymnasium, swimming pool, fitness studio, squash and tennis courts and a spa.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club
Location: Dubai Creek

  • Length of the course: 6,857 yards
  • Course: 18-hole, par-71
  • Designer: The front nine holes of this course have been redesigned by Thomas Bjorn in association with the European Golf Design
  • 9-hole, par-3, floodlit course is available
Other facilities include: A Clubhouse, Pro Shop and four restaurants offering a range of cuisine.

Els Golf Club
Location: Sports City
Incorporating natural elements, this course really gives the feeling of playing golf in the desert.
  • Length of the course: 7,538 yards
  • Course: 18-hole, par-72 course
  • Designer: Ernie Els

Golf Academy: Butch Harmon School of Golf
Other facilities include: A Clubhouse, Pro Shop and restaurant.

The Montgomerie Dubai
Located close to Sheikh Zayed Road
The club features a large Clubhouse and on-site boutique hotel.

  • Length of the course: 7,396 yards
  • Course: 18-hole, par-72 course includes the signature par-5 fourth hole, dubbed the Snake hole for its saddleback fairway that doglegs towards the green with two bunkers behind forming the eyes of the snake.
  • Designer: Colin Montgomerie in association with Desmond Muirhead
  • 9-hole, par-3, floodlit course is available

Al Badia Golf Club
Located in Dubai Festival City

  • Length of the course: 7,303 yards
  • Course: 18-hole, par-72 course
  • Designer: Robert Trent Jones II

Other on-site facilities: A Clubhouse, Pro Shop, five restaurants, separate ladies and men’s relaxation areas including lounges, saunas, steam rooms and Jacuzzis. 

The Arabian Ranches Golf Club
Located in between the Dubai Autodrome and Global Village

  • Length of the course: 7,691 yards
  • Course: 18-hole, par-72 course
  • Designer: Ian Baker-Finch in association with Nicklaus Design
  • 9-hole, par-3, floodlit course is available

Jebel Ali Golf Course
Located within the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa
This course is known for the wandering resident peacocks that call it home.

  • Course: 9-hole, par-36 course (an 18-hole game can be played, two tee off times will be booked)
  • Designer: Peter Harridine, a Swiss golf course architect

Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Golf Club
Voted in the ‘World’s Top 100 Golf Courses’ by Golf World Magazine and home to the PGA European Tour HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, the 27-hole championship course (an 18- hole game can be played, one and half times) has been called a super-course by the golfing press.

  • Courses: 27-hole, Championship Course, an 18-hole, par-72 National Course and a 9-hole, par-36 Garden Course
  • Designer: Peter Harridine, a Swiss golf course architect

Saadiyat Beach Golf Club

Yas Links Golf Course
  • Length of the course: 7,414 yards
  • Courses: 18-hole, par-72 course
  • Designer: Kyle Phillips

Ras Al Khaimah

Tower Links Golf Club
  • Length of the course: 7,199 yards
  • Courses: 18-hole, par-72 course, built on a mangrove reserve
  • Designer: Gerald Williams

Other facilities: A Clubhouse, Pro Shop and two food and beverage outlets. The back 9-holes, and practice facilities are fully floodlit for night play. 

Al Hamra Golf Club Ras Al Khaimah
  • Length of the course: 7,325 yards
  • Courses: 18-hole, par-72 course, built around open-water lagoons with the Gulf on one side and a views of the Hajar Mountains on the other
  • Designer: Peter Harridine

Other facilities: A Clubhouse, Pro Shop and three dining outlets.
