This cultural tour takes us north through the desert beyond Dubai to the heritage town of Ras Al Khaimah. En route, we stop off at the fascinating pre-Islamic excavation site of Ad Dur near the emirate of Umm Al Quwain, and again at the historic Nader Shah Watch Tower.

We continue on through the fertile plains of Khatt Al Kharran, where we take a short break before visiting a date factory. Our next stop is the Ras Al Khaimah Museum, which is housed within the Ruler's Office and provides a fascinating insight into the archaeological, ethnographic and natural heritage of the region. 

After lunch, we drive through Ras Al Khaimah's old town, passing the souk and vegetable market, and make a brief photo stop at Shimal Hill. After a final stop at Al Dhayah Fort, we head back to Dubai.
